Introduction!

Hi! My name is Mara, and I recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Telecommunication Media Studies. I have loved photography for as long as I can remember and am so grateful for every opportunity I get to do what I love! I worked as a Media Boss for Laity Lodge Family Camp for three years, where I developed new skills while continuing to strengthen others. During my time there, I worked in photography, videography, drone videography, and social media, creating a well-rounded experience that allowed me to explore many different aspects of media.

Photography allows me to combine two of my favorite things: connecting with people and capturing meaningful moments, then turning them into art. Over the years, my favorite part of working in hospitality has been the relationships I have built with families at camp, clients at work, and the friends I have met along the way. Beyond the impact they have had on me as a person, they have supported and encouraged me, reminding me of the importance of my work.
